Lymphatic Flow

Lymphatic Flow combines gentle movement, breathwork, yoga, Pilates, and meditation to help support circulation, improve flexibility, and encourage lymphatic flow. This soothing class helps restore energy while creating space for calm and reconnection between body and mind. You will leave feeling more balanced, more open in your body, and gently reenergised.

What our participants have shared

Our joints can really take a hammering from chemo and medication, and for months afterwards. Today I felt like I achieved something, and I felt so much better physically after the class. It’s great. The facilitator, as always, is very accommodating across the groups and offers lots of suggestions to help us manage at our own ability. Great class. Thank you!”

“It's just a gorgeous thing seeing those familiar faces each week. I just enjoy that connection. It also puts a wee bit of a schedule in that's not about checking on your progress. And it’s a very non-judgmental space.”

plus minus How can movement help during cancer treatment?

Gentle movement may help support energy, mobility, circulation, and overall physical and emotional wellbeing.

plus minus What is lymphatic support?

Lymphatic support refers to gentle movement and breath practices that help support natural fluid flow in the body. During and after cancer treatment, the lymphatic system can become slower or disrupted due to surgery, radiation, or reduced movement, which may lead to swelling, heaviness, stiffness, or a feeling of congestion. Gentle movement and breathing help encourage circulation of lymph fluid, supporting the body to clear waste, reduce discomfort, and improve overall ease of movement. Over time, this can help you feel lighter, less restricted, and more comfortable in your body.

plus minus What if I feel too tired to exercise?

Body Support also includes restorative and guided rest practices designed for low energy days.

plus minus Do I need experience to join Body Support classes?

No. All classes are beginner friendly and designed to be accessible, with options to move at your own pace.

plus minus Will exercise and movement boost my wellbeing?

Yes. Many people find that gentle movement and exercise can make a meaningful difference to how they feel during and after cancer treatment. In fact, 26% of people who have experienced cancer say it is the top non-medical activity that boosted their wellbeing. Even small, consistent movement can help support energy, mood, and overall comfort.
